Saint Paul Presbyterian Church PCUSA
Come Find Your Place At Saint Paul

The Worship Committee is chaired by Linda Akins and Pam Harbaugh. They meet regularly and give great thought of ways in which they can enrich our worship services so that we feel God's spirit and are fulfilled by His love and grace. With input from Walker, the committee plans and prepares the worship order for the regular Sunday service as well as other special services such as the Service of Remembrance and the Service of Wholeness. Barbara is also the organist and pianist and helps to select the hymns and special music. Committee members are always willing to give a helping hand in preparing special needs for worship. Linda and Pam are open to receive your feedback regarding the worship services, so please let them know your thoughts or concerns. They are great listeners and will bring your feedback to Walker and their committee for discussion and contemplation. Thanks to them and their committee for creating a worship environment that is meaningful and inspirational.

Join Us for Lenten Season Activities

Many worship and fellowship activities are planned for the upcoming Lenten Season.  We will again celebrate the season with Wednesday night suppers, special music and conversations.  Our theme this year will focus on the church’s 2013 Jubilee Celebration and visions for our future.  Supper will be provided at 6:30 p.m.   An offering will be collected to reimburse the host committee and any money left over will be donated to the N.E.E.D. food bank.

Lenten Sundays and Good Friday will feature members of the congregation doing readings from “A Journey through Lent.”  Pam Harbaugh is coordinating the performances. (Thank you, Pam.)   These presentations focus on explanations of the symbols of Easter:  the cross, basin and towel, wheat and grapes, the money bag, nails, palms and the crown of thorns.  Presentations will be given on March 13, 20, 27, April 3, 10, 17 and Good Friday, April 22.

Mark your calendars now and join us for an inspiring and renewing Easter season.
